- Volunteer Head Coaches for boys teams and girls teams
- Volunteer Assistant Coaches for boys teams and girls teams
The age divisions are listed below:
Varsity (18U)
Junior Varsity (16U)
Junior High (14U)
Middle School (12U)
Elementary (10U)
Our teams typically have 2-hour practices twice a week at various gyms in town in the afternoons and evenings. Once games begin, there are usually 3 events (practices, games, tournaments) per week. We often travel to games and tournaments within a 2-hour radius of Bryan/College Station. The teams officially start practices in September with games running November through February or March. Our competitive Aggieland Panther basketball teams play public schools, private schools, and other homeschool groups. -

Coaching Requirements
Prior coaching experience is helpful but not required. Please read the Coach's Pledge to learn of the expectations we place on our coaches.
If you would like to volunteer for a coaching position, follow the steps below.
STEP 1: Submit the online Basketball Coach Application.
STEP 2: Submit the online Practice Time Survey.
STEP 3: Print and fill out the 2-page Background Check Authorization Form. We plan to run background checks on coaches every year as an extra layer of protection for our children.
STEP 4: Return the Background Check Authorization Form to AHA-B Secretary Lisa Cox by email ([email protected]). You can also mail the hardcopy to her or make arrangments to give it to her in person.
One of our Athletic Directors will contact you about your application.
IMPORTANT: All new and returning coaches must submit an application, practice time survey, and background check form every year.
