Coach Candi Baker will be holding an intense skill clinic for Aggieland Volleyball! Originally from Hawaii, Candi started playing competitive youth volleyball at an early age and went on to be a three year high school letterman at a HHSAA Division I program. She continued her playing in the USAV Women’s Aloha Region, Okinawan Open Division, as well as playing for several independent traveling teams on Oahu. Candi has been playing competitively and coaching for over 30 years. She moved to Texas in 2015 and became a head coach and coach liaison/training lead with the Brazos Valley Juniors for the past 6 years. She is now coaching with Skyline BCS. Candi has also coached several competitive adult teams, assisted with numerous Aloha Region Junior Teams, coached her son and daughter, as well as, took the head coaching position for the 10-12’s Palama team in Honolulu. Candi's success as a coach stems from her love for the game and players along with her philosophy in coaching the essential fundamentals. She strongly believes in preparing her teams physically as well as guiding them through the mental challenges that many times hinder talented players from being able to advance in their volleyball careers.
